This page is help for how articles, images, or videos reach Featured Content status on Icaruspedia. Featured Contents are usually the best examples of high-quality articles or images on Icaruspedia. They are featured on the main page for all viewers and editors of Icaruspedia to see. To nominate an article image or video for Featured Content status, see Icaruspedia:Featured Content Nominations.
Featured Article standards
To become a Featured Article, Icaruspedia has a few rules that the article must meet in order to be nominated:
- The article in question cannot be a stub article.
- The article in question must have at least one image.
- The article in question must be properly categorized.
- The article in question should be grammatically correct for the most part.
- If an article has already been a Featured Article, it cannot be a Featured Article again.
- The article must not be directly copied from any other wiki or website.
Featured Image Standards
To become a Featured Image, Icaruspedia has a few rules that the article must meet in order to be nominated:
- The image cannot be fan artwork.
- The image must be used in a relevant article.
- If an image has already been a Featured Image once, it cannot be Featured again.
Featured Media Standards
To become a Featured Media, Icaruspedia has a few rules that the article must meet in order to be nominated:
- The Video in question must be an official trailer or video by the developers or publishers of Kid Icarus games.
- The Video can also be gameplay footage.
- The Video in question cannot be a fan video.
- The Video in question must be clearly visible and the audio clearly hearable (i.e not blurry, or the audio messed up)
How to tag a Featured Content
To tag an image/article/video as a Featured Content, place {{FA}} at the top of the image/article/video.
