Thank you

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the wiki. It is highly appreciated. --Starphoria (C·E) 15:00, 26 March 2012 (MDT)

To be honest, I don't even have the game- I just consolidate the information I find from around the Internet and bring it over here. Hopefully I'll be able to add even more when I actually get the game myself.--Anothrgamer1234 16:00, 26 March 2012 (MDT)

Ah. Do you have a Skype account? I'd love to have you join our Skype chat. --Starphoria (C·E) 17:37, 26 March 2012 (MDT)

I don't use Skype, but thank you for the offer.--Anothrgamer1234 17:50, 26 March 2012 (MDT)

Patroller rights

Hi, due to your hard work and dedication, I've decided to give you the patroller rights, which automatically patrols your own edits, you can undo edits faster, etc. If and once you accept, I will give you the rights. Be sure to create your userpage by clicking the red link I provided. You can see examples of userpages here, here, here, here, here, and here. Keep up the good work. --Starphoria (C·E) 14:23, 4 April 2012 (MDT)

Thank you. I'll be sure to put them to good use.--Anothrgamer1234 16:45, 4 April 2012 (MDT)

Keep up the good work

Nice work! Keep it up. For your continued, good contributions, I am willing to award you with administrator rights. (If you aren't familiar with the rights - see the guide) If you want administrator rights, just say so :) --Starphoria (C·E) 18:41, 25 April 2012 (MDT)

That's quite an honor. I'll do my best to live up to it.--Anothrgamer1234 09:37, 26 April 2012 (MDT)

Done. :) Please add yourself to the Contact, Staff, and About pages. I'll give you an orange name in the recentchanges ASAP. --Starphoria (C·E) 09:52, 29 April 2012 (MDT)

I'll take care of the About and Staff pages actually, just add yourself to Icaruspedia:Contact. --Starphoria (C·E) 11:01, 29 April 2012 (MDT)

Reverts

Next time you revert three edits I've made at least give a reason. Another thing fifteen should be spelled out; that is how grammar works. I can understand the Viridi issue. At least say that you think it is not needed before reverting it. CancerClaw12:The Smash Bros Fan 12:49, 22 June 2012 (MDT)
And another thing the edits to the claw were important information the user should know. Why revert them? I don't understand your reasoning. CancerClaw12:The Smash Bros Fan 12:51, 22 June 2012 (MDT)
All right. Another thing, you can just reply on your talk page, I check my watchlist from time to time. CancerClaw12:The Smash Bros Fan 15:24, 24 June 2012 (MDT)

Weapons

Hey, I was wondering about if we should merge the Weapon articles like this one to either it's mother article (like Bow) or to a subpage of it (maybe Bow/Weapon Attributes). The pages we have now are primarily stubs that aren't categorized or properly formatted. This may even work for the power-ups such as Libra Sponge and items such as Tempura Bomb. CancerClaw12:The Smash Bros Fan 15:15, 27 June 2012 (MDT)

I'm not entirely sure just yet. At the moment, it would probably best to have a small blurb on the weapon's general strengths and weaknesses on the mother article (the way it is now), but allow the articles for specific weapons to hold more in-depth information and specific details about that weapon- sort of likethis article. Don't forget that you can always add categories and reformat the articles yourself if you like. --Anothrgamer1234 20:03, 27 June 2012 (MDT) I almost forgot- adding some pictures for the weapons that don't have any pictures yet would be very helpful, so try to upload a few if you can.--Anothrgamer1234 20:07, 27 June 2012 (MDT)

For the most part, I do not know how to find the images for those pages. I don't believe using a camera would work and I do not have access to the art for the images digitally. CancerClaw12:The Smash Bros Fan 23:15, 28 June 2012 (MDT)
You can get some of the images from the Kid Icarus wiki over at Wikia. All you need to do is save them to your computer and upload them over here.--Anothrgamer1234 13:35, 30 June 2012 (MDT)
Wikia? Ok... but they may not be happy if they find out. CancerClaw12:The Smash Bros Fan 18:34, 30 June 2012 (MDT)
The photos are considered to be in the public domain (like the images on this wiki are), so there should be no problem with transferring them over here.--Anothrgamer1234 10:27, 2 July 2012 (MDT)

Response

Responded on my talkpage. Thanks for taking care of things around here. I can give you bureaucrat rights if it would help you out. --Starphoria (C·E) 08:52, 3 July 2012 (MDT)

I'm not sure if I'm ready for that responsibility just yet, but I appreciate the offer. I'll try to keep blocking the spambots manually, but I get the feeling that it'll only get worse from here.--Anothrgamer1234 08:54, 3 July 2012 (MDT)
Alrighty :) I'll be sure to talk to Maxite later. I'm glad you messaged me when you did. The faster we solve this, the better. --Starphoria (C·E) 08:56, 3 July 2012 (MDT)

Re: Concern for Other Users

Thank you for your answer. I much appreciate it. Yes, I had suspected these users were to do with spam. Also, a day after I posted that message, a particular member (I think it was you), was deleting their accounts. I will definitely pass on my ideas to Starphoria and Maxmite. Thank you again and happy editing,

AR Card info

Dear Anothergamer1234,

As you may have noticed, I have recently concentrated my free editing time into the AR Cards. It's no secret that all my info is taken from Kid Icarus Wiki of Wikia. My only concern is that certain card info, such as HP, attack, etc. does not seem realistic or true. Since the other Wiki is a free for all with no rules followed up, I would not be surprised that all of it is false. What are your views on this. Should I continue filling in this weary info or should I leave it blank for future edits and acceptable sources? Or is my take about this all wrong?

JORDAN DEBONO 13:29, 11 July 2012 (MDT)

Thank you for your response. I am very pleased that all of it is true. Therefore expect to see many new articles about AR Cards soon :-)

Appearances format.

Dear Anothergamer1234,

Unfortunately, me and IceBlue do not agree on how the appearances of characters in games is portrayed. I prefer created a new heading and sub-heading: == Appearances == > === Kid Icarus: Uprising === . He likes using this: == In Kid Icarus: Uprising == . I can't help anymore seeing it be changed, and I'm sure IceBlue feels the same way. Could you come up with a solution that we can both agree on please? Thanks,

JORDAN DEBONO 11:25, 30 July 2012 (MDT)

In my opinion, either portrayal would be appropriate; however, I must admit that IceBlue's portrayal would be take up less space while displaying the same information. As Kid Icarus: Uprising will be unlikely to get a sequel anytime soon, it may be a good idea to go along with IceBlue for now, but if a sequel is confirmed you can feel free to switch over to your portrayal. I hope that this solves your dispute.--Anothrgamer1234 08:42, 31 July 2012 (MDT)

Well I guess majority wins then. I will contact IceBlue so necessary changes can be made. Thanks again,

Problem

I've contacted other wiki users on Skype to help me access the LocalSettings.php file in order to disable user creation, but turns out because I am not the person that installed Mediawiki on this site, I cannot do it unfortunately. Sorry about that. —RicketyTrigger 16:21, 20 August 2012 (MDT)

I'm assuming that Maxite's the person we need, then. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like he's been active recently. I guess we'll have to keep banning the bots ourselves until he gets back.--Anothrgamer1234 21:52, 20 August 2012 (MDT)

As a note

You needn't add a block reason for the spambots, it speaks for itself, and you'll get it done faster if you don't add a summary. Toast Wii U U.pngltimatumSwadloon.png 18:18, 8 September 2012 (MDT)
