Badoots (ビュート Byūto) are Forces of Nature enemies in Kid Icarus: Uprising that always come in pairs. These crystalline monsters are invulnerable when they are close together, but can be attacked once they split apart. Badoots primarily attack by extending a lightning bolt between their bodies as they detach, creating a dangerous obstacle for Pit during flight. These, along with Pips, are the only Nature enemies that are never encountered during land battles.
Characteristics
Badoots are creatures that always come in a pair. A single Badoot looks like a flower with crystal shard-like petals with orange spikes around their single yellow eye located in the middle. The eye also seems to be the source where the electricity is produced.
In Kid Icarus: Uprising
These uncommon members of Viridi's forces first appear in the aerial section of Chapter 12: Wrath of the Reset Bomb.
Idol Description
In the air, Badoots are obstacles. On land, they link together with an electric tether to trip their enemies. Badoots are impervious to almost any attack while linked, so your best bet is to wait for them to part and then strike.
