Chaos Kin
Chaos Kin is a new boss introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. His ability allows him to control and steal souls.
Appearences
Chaos Kin is first seen when Pit destroys the Lunar Sanctum, Chaos Kin's prison, in Chapter 13: The Lunar Sanctum. Chaos Kin then zooms off and is not seen for a while.
Chaos Kin does not return until Chapter 18: The Ring of Chaos, that takes place three years after the events at the Lunar Sanctum. Palutena's soul has been posessed by Chaos Kin and has turned her army against the humans. In an attempt to rescue Palutena, Pit goes off to find the Lightning Chariot to break into Palutena's Temple.
After the battle against Palutena in Chapter 20: Palutena's Temple, Chaos Kin steals Palutena's soul; turning her into stone. In the following chapter, Chapter 21: The Chaos Vortex, Dark Pit and Pit travel into the Chaos Vortex, Chaos Kin's home, to retrieve the stolen soul. In the air battle, Pit pursuits Chaos Kin while he makes copies of himself. Eventually, Chaos Kin is defeated in a boss battle, so Pit returns Palutena's soul.
Unexpectedly, Chaos Kin springs back to life at the end of the chapter, grabs Dark Pit and tries to forces him to the depths of the Chaos Vortex. Pit then burns his wings while rescuing Dark Pit from the clutches of Chaos Kin.
