Courtesy of dkpat, I have stumbled across an installation that will shut up the spambots for good. It's called Asirra, and what it does is change the wiki's confirmation question to one involving recognising images. In the case of Asirra, it's "click the images of cats", when there are also images of dogs. Spambots have a much harder time figuring this out, and it's completely solved the spam problem on Golden Sun Universe and F-Zero Wiki. So it sounds like installing this will be useful, right? | |||
