But what changes have you actually made to the LocalSettings? I would presume you made it so users can't become autoconfirmed and make userpages without reaching a certain edit quota. If that is the case, it's pointless blocking the spambots now, as they will never reach that edit quota. We'll be like F-Zero Wiki, having spambots register, but they won't edit. And of course, their registration can be hidden from Recent Changes, so it's not a problem that would cause the death of us.
